The room does two jobs at once: it's where the principal works in the mornings, and where visitors are received in the afternoons. We composed it as a single quiet hall — dark timber, deep tone, considered artwork — with a seated desk on one axis and a meeting setting on the other, so the mode of the room shifts with the seat you take.
